What:we have just competed in the kauri athletics

So what:I was proud of coming third in my heat for short sprints

Now what:next time I want to try the long sprints

WHAT:I have been doing production we have practiced a lot because we Are performing at the 50 jubilee for our school.

SO WHAT:I have been successful because I know all of my lines and I am really enjoying getting to learn all of the skills you need to learn for acting qnd singing.

NOW WHAT:I can improve on remembering when I need to be backstage and when I need to do scene changes.

What:to complete Hollywood or bust (drama) I have been preparing to be part of a stage challenge performance.

So what:I am in the school production. I have three roles I am lady Jemma the brave,Jessica the dancer and an extra lady which does most of the singing.For my role I need to sing in tune and loudly,I need to have a clear voice when I talk and I need to be energetic when I dance.

Now what:I need to improve on singing louder.

What:we have been keeping track of how we are achieving on the values of respect and excellence.

Our trip to technology

I really enjoyed going to technology because it was a chance to try out what the year sevens and eights get to do.

My favourite activity was hard material work shop because it was really fun twisting the acrylic as soon as it came out of the oven.

We also did sewing cooking and science.

The house on the corner

It all started on a cold, windy day I was walking home from school with my best friend Nicole, we had just reached the corner of Smith Street which was where I lived.While we were walking all of a sudden Nicole stopped and stared at the house on the corner,"I dare you to go in"Nicole said
"But I don't want to,"I shouted.
"SCAREDY CAT! SCAREDY CAT!Nicole yelled
"Ok ok I will go in then,"I said quietly.

I started walking up the broken path.You could tell that no one lived there, the garden was over grown and the mail box was smashed.Finally I reached the door,it was really old and the lock had rusted up.Then I opened the door.There was a million thoughts running through my head,what if I don't make it out what will happen?BAM!The door slammed shut behind me,I ran to the door to see if I could still get out.The door wouldn't open so I decided to have a look around the house.For awhile I was standing in the main entrance under the glass chandelier deciding which way to go.Finally I decided to go into the living room. As I walked in I noticed that the fireplace was going and above the fireplace  I noticed that there was a picture of a man that had eyes that felt like he was glaring at you.

I left the living room. I decided to go up the stairs, just about every step that I walked up it creaked.Finally I reached the top my heart was pounding I was so nervous I could hardly breath.I tip toed very slowly up to one of the doors, I took a deep breath then walked in.The room was filled with old dolls, creepy paintings and a really scary clown sitting on an old couch staring right at me, I ran out of the room.Down the end of the hall I saw something moving towards me, it was a doll. "La la la la," the doll sang.

Aaah! I screamed. I ran down the stairs so fast I tripped,I face planted in the main entrance right under the glass chandelier.CRASH! All of a sudden everything went pitch black.Then I woke up. I was lying on a hospital bed.Mum was there and so was Nicole they were talking to the nurse.I thought to myself what happened?

This is my information report I did it on ballet

Perspective art

What:We have created art to represent perspective of objects that are close and far away.

So what:my art represents the perspective of a road with apartments down the right side,a beach down the left side and a sunset in the sky.

My art elements:

Lines:I have done straight lines for the outside of the road and squiggly lines for the clouds.

Shape:I have done rectangles for the apartments with squares on the inside for the windows.

Colour:For the road I have used black and yellow,for the footpath I used a light grey.For the sky I used a mix of pink and blue to get a sunset effect.the colour that I used for the clouds was light grey and the colour I used for the sun was dark orange.

Now What:I needed to make my footpaths more straight.

Word salad

What:The app is called word salad.you can write words in and it will make it have the words/word a lot

So what:You can choose a topic then word salad will make it like the one below and then you can choose your colours.

Now what:At school this app can be used for choosing a topic then turning it into a word salad

My opinion:I think this is a really good app because it is really fun and it can turn any words/word you write into a word salad.
